After installing RAM my computer won’t start, whats wrong ?

Okay so per week in the past I attempted putting in new RAM In my desktop, it’s a quad core acer and originaly had 2gb of DDR2 RAM, however once I tried instaling a second 2gb stick it’s didn’t appear to take and my pc wouldn’t work, so for the sake of making an attempt I put the brand new stick into the primary slot(the place my orginal ram was) and identical problem. Accepting that the RAM is simply not compatable I switched it again to the unique setup with out the brand new RAM in any respect and I nonetheless have the identical downside.

After I activate the pc it runs however a loud beeping quickly begins, lasts about 10 seconds then stops for one more 10 seconds to start out once more. There is no such thing as a response from the display.
